Abstract
At this moment, with the greatest attention from health services aimed at meeting the demand created by COVID-19, there is a concern about the impact that the current pandemic can cause on this population, mainly vitamin and mineral deficiency. Thus, the aim of this work was to identify the content of vitamins D in the Programs that involve food distribution and to analyze the supply ofthis vitamin and the level of adequacy to the RDA for this population group. A search for studies was conducted in the databases of Medline / Pubmed, Web of Science, Scopus, Embase, Lilacs, Livivo and Open Gray. Of the 259 abstracts identified, only 12 studies were selected for data extraction, in which they were exposed in figures according to the characterization, distribution of indicators used and estimate of cholecalciferol in the foods distributed. This study reinforces the importance of the actions of Food and Nutritional Security, in addition, it suggests the incorporation of specific markers of the nutritional status of vitamin D in future Programs aimed at PLHIV, considering the importance of this vitamin in these individuals.
