Abstract

This article presents a study on the perceived importance of the various themes of the asset management body of knowledge. The study is based on the results of surveys conducted involving a sample of representatives from higher education institutions, research centers, industry, public management, and civil society who carry out activities related to asset management. This sample includes participants in the national (CongrEGA) and international (WCEAM) congresses on engineering asset management, members of the national standardization technical committee on asset management (CT 204), and higher education institutions with teaching programs on the subject. The results are presented on a scale of values 1 to 5 to describe the perceived relative importance of different asset management areas.
