Áurea Sousa, Universidade dos Açores, Portugal

PhD em Matemática, na especialidade de Probabilidades e Estatística, pela Universidade dos Açores, 2006; Mestre em Estatística e Gestão de Informação, pela Universidade Nova de Lisboa, 1997; e Licenciada em Matemática, pela Universidade dos Açores, 1992. Leciona na Universidade dos Açores desde 1992 e é investigadora do Centro de Estudos de Economia Aplicada do Atlântico (CEEAplA) desde 2011. Atualmente, é membro da Sociedade Portuguesa de Estatística (SPE), da Associação Portuguesa de Classificação e Análise de Dados (CLAD), da Associação Portuguesa para o Desenvolvimento Regional (APDR), da Regional Science Association International (RSAI) e da Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Research Network.
